The new third-generation Areca ARC-1883 family of controllers offers advanced technology for enhanced performance and enhanced data protection in enterprises. They are designed with a 1.2 GHz dual-core ROC processor, DDR3-1866 memory architecture and PCIe 3.0 connectivity for the most performance-demanding data center and IT applications. The ARC-1883 family offers 8 external ports, as well as full-height 12/16/24 internal ports with an additional 4 external ports with mini SAS HD connectors providing 12 Gb/s throughput on each port.
