The LMP 28217-2TB is a high-speed drive - up to 3,500 MB/s - compatible with Intel, M1, M2, M3 and M4 Macs, as well as Windows PCs and USB4 or Thunderbolt ports.

The LMP 28217-2TB is a rugged and ultra-fast NVMe PCIe drive with USB4, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 host interface. The metal housing combined with a silicon heatsink ensures efficient heat dissipation without the need for a fan - as in competing solutions. Thanks to the USB4?Thunderbolt interface, the drive provides high transfer speeds, supporting a theoretical maximum speed of up to 40 Gbps i.e. up to 3,500 MB/s.

The drive is compatible with Mac computers with Intel and Silicon M1, M2, M3 and M4 series processors, as well as Windows computers equipped with a Thunderbolt or USB4 port. The drive is preformatted in APFS, i.e. in a macOS-compatible system. You can easily reformat the drive to NTFS or exFAT.

The LMP 28217-4TB drive has been tested with us achieving transfers in excess of 3,400 MB/s in conjunction with an Apple Mac mini M4Pro....
